I’ve collaborated on the first drop from the Soccer Sari project created by AMONG GOOD PEOPLE inspired by football and our Pakistani heritage.
This Prostar long sleeve striped top inspired by the Barcelona colour-way has been transformed into a soccer sari using one of my mums old saris and traditional hand sewing techniques.
On the front the middle stripe has been covered in a cut out taken from the end of the sari, the heavier and more detailed section. The back features two more cut outs covering the blue stripes, and the collars featured the most detailed part of the sari. All customisations have been sewn on by hand.
